Is there really no cost?+
Yes. Green Tech High is a tuition-free public charter school authorized by SUNY. There are no tuition fees or application costs — ever.
Is there an entrance exam?+
No. Admissions are open enrollment. If applications exceed available seats, we hold a public lottery.
What grades do you serve?+
Grades 6 through 12. Boys can enroll at any grade if seats are available.
Do you offer other language support?+
Yes. We provide multilingual support including Arabic (العربية), Spanish (Español), Hindi (हिन्दी), and Chinese (中文). Our bilingual staff and translated documents help every family stay connected to school life.
What about transportation?+
The Albany City School District provides bus transportation for eligible students. We can help you check eligibility.
