Green Tech High School boys soccer combines technical skill, tactical discipline, and Eagle pride on the pitch. Our fall program builds fit, focused, and coachable young men who support each other as teammates and brothers while representing Albany with respect.
Play with Purpose
Green Tech High School's boys soccer program in Albany, NY, gives young men the opportunity to develop footwork, field awareness, and leadership through the world's most popular sport. Each fall, the Eagles field a JV squad that emphasizes skill development, fitness, and sportsmanship under Head JV Coach H. Berriche.
Soccer at Green Tech is more than a game. It is a space where student-athletes learn to read the field, make decisions under pressure, and communicate with teammates. The same habits — showing up prepared, recovering from mistakes, and putting the group first — carry directly into the classroom and help prepare athletes for college and career success.
Ball Control

JV Program
JV Soccer is open to 7th through 10th grade students only. This is a startup program — if we have enough players we are good to go. If not, we will run a soccer club instead.

Practice Schedule
Practices are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Green Tech on the back field.
Eligibility
NYSPHSAA physical and consent forms required before try-outs; academic eligibility is checked alongside team participation.

How to Join the Eagles Soccer Team
Soccer try-outs are open to enrolled students at Green Tech High School at the start of the fall season. Interested students must complete the NYSPHSAA physical and required consent forms before participating. New families are encouraged to explore the admissions process to learn more about Green Tech's tuition-free, college-preparatory environment for young men in Albany, New York.
