Green Tech High Eagles baseball team

Green Tech High School's baseball program in Albany, NY, gives young men the opportunity to develop fundamentals, focus, and team-first play on the diamond. Each spring, the Eagles field a JV roster that emphasizes preparation, accountability, and respect for the game. Under JV Head Coach A. Littlejohn, athletes sharpen their hitting, fielding, base running, and pitching skills while learning what it means to compete as part of a brotherhood.

Baseball at Green Tech is more than a sport. It is a space where students practice discipline, handle pressure, and support one another through wins and losses. The habits built in practice—showing up early, staying coachable, and putting the team first—carry directly into the classroom and help prepare student-athletes for college and career success.

Eagles Baseball in Action

Every Green Tech High Eagle steps to the plate with focus and confidence. Our student-athletes wear the green and white with pride, representing Albany on the diamond while building the discipline and teamwork that define our school.

From the batting cage to the dugout, baseball teaches our players to stay composed under pressure, support one another, and compete with integrity — skills that matter long after the final inning.

What Athletes Develop

The Eagles baseball program focuses on the complete player. Hitters work on mechanics, pitch recognition, and approach at the plate. Fielders receive detailed instruction on footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy. Pitchers and catchers build arm care routines, command, and game-calling awareness. Every athlete, regardless of position, learns the value of conditioning, communication, and mental focus.

Team Culture & Brotherhood

Green Tech High School is built on the belief that every young man is known by name and held to high expectations. That same culture shapes the baseball team. Players encourage each other during tough at-bats, hold each other accountable between games, and celebrate the small improvements that lead to long-term success. The result is a program where character matters as much as batting average.
