Green Tech High School Eagles football forges brotherhood, resilience, and character on the field. Our fall program fields varsity and JV squads and holds every player to the same standard in the classroom as on the field. Football at Green Tech is more than a sport — it is a developmental experience that prepares young men for the demands of college and life beyond high school.
Student-athletes practice fundamental skills, study game film, and compete against schools across the Capital Region. Whether a player is new to the game or has years of experience, the Eagles coaching staff emphasizes technique, conditioning, and accountability. Every drill, every practice, and every game is designed to help athletes grow as competitors and as young men.

Varsity and JV Football Practices
Varsity and JV football practice takes place Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Tech. Saturday practice times are to be announced.
Once school is in session, practice times may vary day to day. Athletes and families should stay connected through the team communication channel for any daily updates, location changes, or schedule adjustments.

How to Join the Eagles Football Team
Green Tech High School is a tuition-free college-preparatory charter school for young men in Albany, NY. Enrolled students in good academic standing are eligible to try out for varsity and JV football. Complete the enrollment application, schedule a campus visit, and contact the athletics office to learn about fall tryout dates and NYSPHSAA requirements.
