On the Track

Green Tech High School's track and field program in Albany, NY, gives young men the chance to develop speed, endurance, and strength under the guidance of experienced coaches. Each spring, our Eagles train and compete in sprints, distance, hurdles, and field events as part of a supportive brotherhood that values discipline, persistence, and personal growth.

Athletes at Green Tech balance demanding academics with a committed athletic schedule. Our varsity and junior varsity rosters welcome runners and field-event competitors of all experience levels, from first-time sprinters to athletes aiming to set new personal records and compete at the highest levels of high school track and field in the Capital Region.

Beyond medals and meet times, the track program builds the habits that matter after graduation: showing up prepared, supporting teammates, and pushing through challenges. That focus is part of why Green Tech High School graduates 95% of its students and sends 100% of graduates to college, with athletics playing a meaningful role in the journey.
